Pompage d'eau de mer
Conducting PIANO culture experiments requires the preparation of large volumes of culture media. The first step is therefore to pump several hundred liters of seawater off the coast of Banyuls. To do this, a 1m3 container is loaded onto the ship La Néréis and filled using a Teflon pump. The container is then transported to the laboratory where the seawater is filtered and stored until use.
